No less than five and probably closer to ten franchises have put me through the Kubler-Ross stages of grief, although I always seem to just bounce between rage and denial, with occasional bartering.
It's kind of a relief. With Evangelion finally poised to crash and burn, I think I'm actually out of franchises to be fucked up.

Okay guys! According to the poll, most of you are okay to do the exchange at either time, but January 1 won over February 14 (by 2:1 hahaha) So I shall call this the ishi_ichi 2009/10 New Years Exchange :D
Rules
1. You must be willing to give a present to receive one, considering this is an exchange.
2. Once you've been assigned to someone, keep it a secret from them! We all like surprises, right?
3. Content must of course be IchiIshi or IshiIchi in some way (Hollow!Ichigo can play, too!)
4. While it is held over New Years, it isn't necessary for your presents to have a New Years (or any kind of year-specific) theme. Any IchiIshi is good, right? :D
5. Please put effort into your presents. I know that people having different levels of ability in terms of writing and drawing, but don't feel discouraged if you don't think "you're good enough" <3 I'm making it a minimum of 500 words for fanfiction and 500x500 pixels for fanart but size minimums aside, just make sure the person you're making the present for can see that you put time and effort into it! This is all about making our fellow fans happy over the holidays, okay? :D <3

Whoooooooooo I badly need to go to a psychologist. I mean, previously, I realised that I probably needed to go to a psychologist. Now? ...whoooooooooo.
This is only partly a "WHAAAAAAAAA SYMPATHISE WITH ME INTERNET" post, and that's actually a very small part of it. Seriously, the major and most important thing is this - if I put it up here I have to remember it later. It's like tying a string around your finger, except for the fact that it actually SPECIFIES something. That always bothered me. "Oh, there's a string around my finger, I'm meant to remember something!" I'M ALWAYS MEANT TO REMEMBER SOMETHING. A STRING THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING WON'T EXACTLY JOLT THE OLD MEMORY BANKS BACK INTO PLAY.
A-ny-way. Disgaea 3; wonderful. Not as good as 1, but better than 2. This is like saying that getting a 99% on an important exam is not as good as getting a 100%, but better than getting a 98%. FRANKLY YOU WOULD NOT TURN DOWN ANY OF THESE THINGS.
When I grow up I wanna be a steam shovel.

Hooray, so we've got 12 people expressing interest in an exchange! I think that's enough people to do something fun :D
Because I don't get along with LJ polls, I screwed up that other poll asking you guys when you wanted to do the exchange (New Years for either the Gregorian calendar or the Lunar calendar)
I looked up when the Lunar new year falls on and it happens to be February 14 in 2010. Uhh, shall we do a New Years exchange around January 1 (with a leeway up until January 15) or a combined Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day exchange around February 14 (with a leeway until February 21)? Wow it feels weird planning February stuff in November ._.
If we go by the Gregorian New Year, dates will happen like this:
November 21: sign-ups close around midnight my time (Eastern Daylight Time, UTC+11 hours)
November 22: participants are told who they will be making presents for
January 1-15: posting time!
and if we go by the Lunar New Year/Valentines, date will happen the same as above, except with more time to write and the posting time being February 14-21 as mentioned before.

Oh man, last night's dream.
So. Alton Brown invites me over to his house - we're gonna hang out, maybe watch a DVD, cook some stuff, and just chill. But when I get there, I'm face to face with 5 world-famous chefs, all standing there in the kitchen, brightly backlit.
We're each supposed to make a spectacular dish using a particular ingredient. I think Morimoto got pine nuts. Someone else got filet mignon.
I got Goldfish crackers.
So I'm sort of freaking out, trying to figure out how the hell to make a gourmet presentation out of Goldfish. I settle for sort of a layered goat-cheese-and-rabbit-pate thing, and then attempt to arrange it artfully. The little crackers keep coming apart, sliding around on the ornate blue ceramic platter. The arrangement is terrible.
I'm already out the door as the other chefs tear into the dish, indignant that I sullied the competition with such a submission. I sigh heavily and leave through the garage door.
The next day, the Food & Life section of the newspaper boasts a gushing, glowing review of my Goldfish dish, complete with ass-kissing comments from the other chefs (who have apparently done a 180.)
Yeah I don't even know.

special note: prizes this year will be mailed worldwide registered mail only because I know longer trust the international post! Alas, one package to France and one package to England I mailed out this year seem to be lost *grumbles over European post* but all my packages to Asia and Australia got to their destinations. MUCH LOVE and thanks to all of you who have sent parcels my way. Only one from Indonesia was lost and one from Tokyo was eventually recovered. I'm still amazed that we can connect over the miles at all in ways other than the Internet! I hope to reach out to more of you in 2010.

 | 11:53 am - Guildy's Fake Spoilers and Kubo-sensei's Vacation
Was it just me who missed Live Journal for that whole hour it was down? I was just trying to get polls up is all.
That and waiting for Bleach spoilers. There appear to be none today even though One Piece and Naruto spoilers are already out. I'm pretty sure that there's a Bleach chapter in this issue of Shounen Jump. It's the following week that Kubo-sensei is taking a vacation (just a heads-up for you addicts).
Anyway, for those of you who need a spoiler fix, Guildenstern has provided some:

In other news, people are predicting that Unohana is going to gouge out Ichigo's eyes in the next chapter so that he can't see Aizen's shikai. Now, I know she looked scary in the last chapter's close-ups and I've always suspected SS of shady doings but do you really think that the four devils are the Shinigami of the last chapter and that SS is setting Ichigo up? There's an interesting thread on the subject at BA. It's really my favorite subject in Bleach, believe it or not--the whole ethics of SS business, not who gets to rape Uryuu next in my upoming fic.
